Dr. Kristyn Pozzer, OD
Dr. Kristyn Pozzer combines medical expertise with a patient-focused approach, offering personalized eye care with a strong emphasis on long-term eye health.
A long-time resident of Ancaster, Dr. Pozzer is proud to return to Hanley’s Eyewear Boutique & Optometry - the very place where she helped launch the practice in 2009. Now, as both a neighbour and practitioner, she’s excited to rejoin the team at Hanley’s and continue delivering exceptional care in the community she calls home.
A graduate of the University of Waterloo’s Doctor of Optometry program, Dr. Pozzer has been practicing since 2009 with a focus on managing ocular health conditions such as glaucoma, macular degeneration, diabetic eye disease, and anterior segment disorders. Her clinical foundation was shaped in part by an intensive externship at a veteran’s hospital in the U.S., where she gained valuable experience in diagnosing and managing a wide range of ocular diseases.
At Hanley’s Eyewear Boutique & Optometry, she provides comprehensive eye exams using advanced diagnostic technology, including high-resolution retinal imaging and OCT scanning, ensuring precise and early detection of potential ocular health concerns.
Dr. Pozzer strives to create a calm, efficient, and personalized clinical experience, with a focus on attentive care and respecting each patient’s time in the office. As a mother of two young daughters, she works naturally with children while offering a professional, polished approach that resonates with patients of all ages.
Outside the office, she enjoys an active lifestyle that includes horseback riding, snowboarding, and weightlifting, along with a passion for natural wellness and nutrition.

Optometrist
Dr. Mishee Goyal, OD
Dr. Mishee Goyal is a highly skilled optometrist licensed in Ontario since 2015. After completing a Bachelor of Commerce at McMaster University, she pursued optometry training at Cardiff University’s School of Optometry and Vision Sciences in the UK, before earning her Doctor of Optometry degree from the University of Waterloo in 2014.
Dr.Goyal brings a broad and comprehensive skill set to her practice. Dr. Goyal is adept in ocular disease diagnosis and management, binocular vision, pediatric eye care, contact lens exams and fittings, post-operative refractive surgery follow-up, glaucoma, and myopia control.
One of her greatest passions is treating dry eye disease. Drawing on her experience, she developed and leads the Blink Better Program (www.blinkbetter.ca). This is a patient-centered dry eye management system that employs advanced diagnostics and tailored therapies like meibomian gland imaging and tear-film analysis to optimize comfort and ocular surface health.
Dr. Goyal is trusted for providing the highest standard of eye care with warmth and professionalism. She is committed to lifelong learning and regularly pursues continuing education to stay up to date with the latest advances in eye care and treatment technology. Outside of the clinic, Dr.Goyal lives in Oakville with her husband and two young children and she cherishes family time and endeavors to maintain her fitness and love for travel whenever mom‑life allows.
